George Muller. Who was he? George Müller (1805-1898) was a Prussian-born English evangelist and philanthropist. A man of faith and prayer,
What did he do?he established orphanages in Bristol and founded the Scriptural Knowledge Institution for Home and Abroad.
Why is he important in history? . He was well-known for providing an education to the children under his care, to the point where he was accused of raising the poor above their natural station in life.
Your thoughts on his life? he was an awesome man of God that sacrificed so much for the kids in orphanages
What are some of his quotes?
It is a common temptation of Satan to make us give up the reading of the Word and prayer when our enjoyment is gone; as if it were of no use to read the Scriptures when we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to pray when we have no spirit of prayer.”
“A servant of God has but one Master.”
“I hope in God, I pray on, and look yet for the answer. They are not converted yet, but they will be.”

snuggie report
SNUGGIE
The Blanket with sleeves!
Have you ever been lying on the couch tucked inside a blanket but needing to reach out and grab the TV remote, but too afraid of the cold air that will consume you? Well have no fear, the snuggie is here! (and it comes in fashionable colors) A snuggie is a blanket with sleeves. They even have snugglets, which are snuggies for kids. Snugglets also come with a free pair of socks! What a deal!
I must warn you though. Coming from the girl that wears her leopard snuggie in school, at home, at church, and even at work, I can tell you from experience that people will look at you quite weird. I always get the same reaction though. The person's eyes squint, they walk a little closer and as his mouth starts to open i can predict what comes next, "Is that a snuggie?!" Without fail i hear this at least once a day when i see someone new examining my amazingly warm blanket with arms. Sometimes you might even get picked on or laughed at, but you will be surprised when you see those same people that pick on you wrapped up in their very own FASHIONABLE SNUGGIE! That's not all though, some go to the extreme of wrapping you up in your snuggie and spinning you as fast as they can, making you run into poles, objects, adn even people! (and yes i know this from experience) It is quite alright though. The reason they are doing this to you is because they are jealous because they do not have the courage to wear a snuggie out in public.
Not only do they have the plain blue, tan, pink, red, green, purple, and other solid colors; they also have the new and improved fashionable snuggies! These fashionable snuggies come in LSU, leopard (like my very own), zebra, camo, etc. you would be surprised to know that they even have snuggies for dogs! nowadays, you can find snuggies everywhere! if you are interested in these amazing, convenient blankets with arms, then check the nearest Walgreens, Target, or im sure even department stores and pick up the snuggie with your name on it! :)

weird website engineer project
1.cell phone:
this was interesting. it was cool how you can make a phone for senior citizens and they didnt really like mine much. it was not what they wanted so they shunned me!!!
2.deep brain:
blood was squirting at me and i was pretty disgusted!!! it was trying to be realistic but it was kind of cheesy! haha it was fun performing surgery on a brain. i dont think people would really want me to perform brain surgery on them!
3.crash scene:
this project was interesting because i had to investigate a crash scene! i had to collect the evidence, interview the witnesses, calculate the forces, and draw conclusions. i was able to understand more clearly what real investigators go through to gather the result of an incident.
4.virtual hip resurfacing:
i never want to get hip surgery! it looks so painful and disgusting.. i would hope the person is asleep before you do this to someone!! i was grossed out by this one!
5.virtual hip replacement:
this one is disgusting also! i dont want to have any kind of hip surgery.. it is all disgusting and scary. i would hate to have to do that to someone because i would feel like i was inflincting torture upon them.
6.virtual knee surgery:
for the knee surgery i got to cut the knee open and perform surgery! it was pretty cool but quite disgusting because of the blood and bones and everything else. i had to hammer stuff down in the knee and whatnot. it looked pretty painful!

7.the odd machine:
i did something with making a wheel work for a hamster. i had to answer a lot of multiple choice questions. i also had to make odd machines work. it was kinda boring if you ask me.
8.weather:
i got to predict the weather and report the weather. for predicting it i actually had to make my own predictions and then when i finished it told me what was right and wrong. it was pretty cool. it would help me if i wanted to go into weather forecasting. but i don't!

11 year old boy saves family from fire
An 11 year old boy saved his whole family from a fire early one morning and he got all of them out without any of them being injured. He says that God woke him up and he knew what to do from being taught at school. He is a hero at the age of 11!!!
11-Year-Old Boy Saves Family From Fire
AUGUST 28, 2009David Johnson, Citizen Journalist
While the family was asleep, an early morning fire broke out in the kitchen of a Riverdale, Illinois home. 11 year old Adonis woke his mother, carried a young girl to safety, and went back into the building to make sure his aunt got out, too. "I ran back in to get my Auntie Karen, and then she came out. And that's when I ran back in and I woke my brother up, and my brother went upstairs and got my grandma," Adonis said."God woke me up and I got everybody out. If he didn't wake me up, we were gonna be dead," Adonis continued. "At my school, the fireman, he told us, 'Don't grab anything. Get yourself and everybody else out.'""It's unbelievable that he was so calm and levelheaded at the time," said grandmother Karen Bell."That young man was brave, and he did something that most people probably would have not done, and that touched my heart," said Riverdale Mayor Deyon Dean.Adonis said he wasn't scared. "Because I know that God was on my side and I'm not going to get hurt," he said. For Adonis' efforts, the Bells are being rewarded with a new three-bedroom home, purchased by Riverdale for $1 with Housing and Urban Development funds. And $45,000 in federal funds are going to be administered through Cook County to help refurbish the home. The whole process should take about 45 days.10 new words
